Sehr geehrter Herr Purgathofer,

die Universität Würzburg baut derzeit das Center for Artificial 
Intelligence in Data Science (CAIDAS, https://go.uniwue.de/caidas) auf 
und lädt zu Bewerbungen für eine neue W3 Professur für Computational 
Humanities ein. Dieses interdisziplinäre Zentrum wird in den nächsten 
Jahren auf eine Größe von 20 bis 30 Professuren und deren 
Forschungsgruppen anwachsen. Das Zentrum wird sich auf 
Grundlagenforschung und angewandte Forschung für ausgewählte 
wissenschaftliche Bereiche konzentrieren. Sie finden die Ausschreibungen

Die Bewerbungsfrist endet am 10. Mai.

Als Sprecher des CAIDAS und Leiter der Berufungskommission für die 
Professur für Computational Humanities möchte ich Sie ermutigen, sich 
auf die Professur an der Universität Würzburg zu bewerben bzw. darum 
bitten, diese E-Mail an potenzielle Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten in 
Ihrer Forschungsgruppe bzw. in Ihrem Netzwerk weiterzuleiten (zu diesem 
Zweck diese Mail unten auch nochmals in Englisch).

Die Professur wurde im "Open Track" Verfahren ausgeschrieben und wird 
somit entweder direkt als W3 (auf Lebenszeit) oder als W2 (befristet) 
mit Tenure Track auf W3 (auf Lebenszeit) besetzt.

The University of Würzburg is currently setting up the Center for 
Artificial Intelligence in Data Science (CAIDAS, 
https://go.uniwue.de/caidas) and is inviting applications for a newly 
established Full Professorship for Computational Humanities. This 
interdisciplinary center will grow to a size of 20 to 30 professorships 
and their research groups over the next few years. The Center will focus 
on basic research and applied research for selected scientific fields.
