Post-Doctoral Opportunity

We are looking for a post-doc to work on a project that aims at

advancing the representations and computational tools to deal with

complex designs. Hence we seek a post-doc for up to a 2 year period starting

as soon as possible.

Research topics span geometric and computational modeling of shape and

material properties, including Trivariate spline and Bezier

representations for hexahedral and tetrahedral domains,

Representation, specification, and visualization of multiscale

microstructures, Visualization of higher order analysis results on

multiscale models, Additive fabrication algorithms for models with the

above properties. Familiarity with analysis and FEM on complex models

is useful.

Required qualifications include a PhD in computer science,

mathematics, or engineering and a record of research accomplishments

related to some of the research topics, as well as good communication

skills. The position will involve significant programming in C.
