The Visual Computing Center at King Abdullah University of Science and 
Technology (KAUST) invites applications for faculty positions at all 
ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors). Candidates applying 
for a position of Assistant Professor should have an excellent potential 
for high impact research. Candidates applying for Associate and Full 
Professor positions should have a distinguished track record in research 
and a strong commitment to service and teaching at graduate level.

The Visual Computing Center (VCC) is KAUST’s hub for research 
activities spanning all areas of visual computing, including imaging, 
computer vision, computer graphics, and visualization, as well as 
interdisciplinary applications of visual computing.

The VCC offers a unique combination of an intellectually stimulating 
environment and access to superb facilities, including large-scale 
virtual reality installations in the KAUST Visualization Core Lab 
(KVL) and KAUST’s 5 Petaflop/s Shaheen-2 supercomputer.

Successful candidates will be appointed within one of the programs of 
the Computer, Electrical, and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering 
Division (CEMSE): Computer Science, Applied Mathematics & Computational 
Science, or Electrical Engineering.
We will consider applications in all areas of visual computing, with a 
special focus in Visualization.
