Description:
The (newly established) Center for Visual Computing, a joint initiative
of École des Ponts, ParisTech and École Centrale de Paris counting
approx 10 faculty members working in the areas of computer vision,
medical imaging and machine learning invite applications for two faculty
positions at the level of associate/full professor. These are (fast)
tenure-track positions in the areas of computer vision and machine
learning. We give absolute priority to the overall originality of the
candidate's work.

Mission:
We are seeking applicants in the areas of computer vision (not limited
to motion analysis/tracking, 2D+time, and 3D) and machine learning. We
are also interested in applicants doing research at the Frontiers of
Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Engineering with emphasis on
computational vision and human-computer interaction.

Profile:
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in the above mentioned fields and
should have 5-10 years of research experience where they must have
demonstrated the ability to execute cutting-edge research. Successful
candidates are also expected to reasonably contribute to graduate (and
undergraduate) teaching in their respective research areas. Exceptional
junior applications might be also considered.
