The School of Interactive Computing (IC) at the Georgia Institute
of<br>
Technology (Georgia Tech) invites applications for several
anticipated<br>
tenure track faculty positions at all levels of seniority. One of
the<br>
areas of primary interest this year is Data Visualization
(broadly).<br>
Suitable candidates must have, appropriate for their level of
seniority, an established international reputation and have
demonstrated<br>
exceptional impact, productivity, and leadership. Candidates are
also<br>
expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching
and<br>
mentoring of students.<br>
<br>
The School of IC is a part of Georgia Tech’s College of Computing,
which<br>
is ranked among the top ten Computer Science departments in the
nation.<br>
The School includes 40 full-time tenure-track Faculty, 6 Faculty
with<br>
joint appointments, 8 Research Scientists, 130 PhD students, and a
large<br>
number of Master’s students. We work in a wide range of research
areas<br>
relating to the interface of computing to the world. The School is<br>
affiliated with the GVU Center, Institute for Robotics and
Intelligent<br>
Machines, the Institute for Information Security and Privacy, and
the<br>
Machine Learning Center.<br>
