established in 2014 at <br>
Innsbruck University, Austria, invites applications for the
position of <br>
a PhD student with focus on biomechanical tissue simulation,
with an <br>
application in surgical planning. <br>
<br>
We are seeking a motivated and talented PhD student with
interest and <br>
skill in tissue deformation simulation and biomechanical
modelling. <br>
The activity will be carried out in the context of improving
planning <br>
for forearm surgery, by analyzing and simulating anatomical
structures <br>
relevant for distal stability during pro-supination. The
work will be <br>
performed within the scope of a collaborative Swiss-Austrian
research <br>
project. <br>
<br>
The position is open immediately until filled. It is offered
on the <br>
level of a non-permanent university research student for
three years. <br>
<br>
