      <pre>Dear all,

we have an opening for a Research Associate in 3D Visualisation (AR,
VR), University of Sheffield.
30% working commitment (there will be a further opportunity coming up
soon in the context of mobile AR and flood visualisation. This will
likely be 50% for two years, but is negotiable).
We are looking to appoint someone who can engage creatively in the
process of 3D Landscape Visualisation with the aim of
embedding this research area into the wider Landscape research context,
and contribute to the on going success of our
research environment.

Main duties include:
Contribute to the development of a strong programme of research in
digital visualisation within the department.
Apply visualization techniques to research funding bids.
Develop visualisation demos for the new visualisation lab.
Publish research findings in appropriate publications and support the
dissemination of results by preparing papers for journals.
Present at international conferences and events as determined by your
research.
Be responsible for general project management through the management of
materials, time, finance and equipment.
Co-ordinate any collaborative work between different partners of the
project.
Read academic papers, journals and textbooks and attend conferences,
workshops and seminars as required.
Occasional contribution to postgraduate teaching.
Any other duties, commensurate with the grade of the post.

Details can be found here:
