Professor for Mixed and Augmented Reality
(Tenure Track)
Graz University of Technology is seeking applications for a professor of
Mixed and Augmented Reality. The professor will be employed on a tenure
track position with a five-year evaluation period. After a positive
evaluation, the employment will be converted to a permanent position.
We are encouraging applications of candidates with demonstrated
scientific excellence in the area of Mixed and Augmented Reality,
working on topics such as computer vision methods for Augmented Reality
or mobile 3D user interfaces. The candidate's research interests should
match and complement the existing research areas in computer graphics
and computer vision.
The candidate is expected to collaborate interdisciplinary within the
faculty and to reach out to other universities and industry. Teaching on
bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels as well as active participation
in academic administration is required. We expect:
* A doctoral degree and a habilitation or equivalent qualification in a
relevant area
* Scientific excellence documented by publications in first-rate
conferences and journals
* An outstanding teaching experience
* Experience in acquiring, managing and supervision of externally funded
projects
* Active participation in the international research community
