PhD Position in Visual Analytics
================================
The research center VRVis in Vienna / Austria (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.vrvis.at">www.vrvis.at</a>) invites
applications for a full-time PhD research position in Visual Analytics.
The work will address research topics in the scope of joint projects
with well-known company partners (e.g., AVL List, Austrian Power Grid,
Baxter, etc.).
An ideal start date is January 2013. This position is open-ended, i.e.,
a continuation as a PostDoc after finishing the PhD is possible.
To apply for the position, you should fulfill the following requirements:
* Master in computer science (or similar)
* A high motivation to do research and to publish high-impact scientific
papers
* Good programming skills (ideally: C++) and knowledge in software
engineering
* Knowledge in Visual Analytics
* Very good English in speaking and writing; German is appreciated, but
not required
* Creativity, common sense, and social integration
