for your information, H. Hauser from UiB wrote:
The Department of Informatics (UiB.no/ii) at the University of Bergen
(UiB.no) has the opportunity to hire a new professor (a full, i.e.,
tenured professor) into our visualization research group (ii.UiB.no/vis)
with the overall goal to achieve a good complementary fit with the
existing research/teaching profile in visualization.
The position has been announced via the jobbnorge-portal
(jobbnorge.no/job.aspx?jobid=78722), together with a short description
of the environment and the plans wrt. the new professor (see also the
attached PDF), and the application deadline was set to Dec. 22nd, 2011.
If you should have any questions, I of course would be happy to try my
best in answering them (also Petter Bjørstad, head of the Department, is
